Yoga practice
As a part of B Ed curriculum 2019 - 2021, we the student teachers have to practice yoga. On 20 March 2021, our college conducted a yoga class at 10 am on college main hall. The class was held by Mr Unnilal, Assistant professor of HKMCE Umayanalloor. Sir gives a clear idea about practicing yoga, mudras and Asanas. The yoga class was really informative as well as interactive. The class upto 3 pm onwards.
Firstly sir practiced pranayama , is a breathing exercise . Then showed different Mudras of Yoga like jnana mudra , chin mudra,vayu mudra ,Surya mudra Hrithaya mudra etc .
Then practiced different types of Asanas like padmasana ,siddhasana, Dhanurasana,vajrasana, Halasana ,shalabhasana ,naukasana , parvathasana etc .
The yoga class was interesting to everyone and it helps the body fit and trim but it is more than that the systematic yoga practices . It is not only eliminate and control several diseases but also keep the mind perfect , clean and peaceful . That means yogic practices give both physical and mental perfection.
