Introduction Conscientization is a popular education and social concept developed by Brazilian pedagogue and educational theorist Paulo Freire, grounded in post-Marxist critical theory. Critical consciousness focuses on achieving an in-depth understanding of the world, allowing for the perception and exposure of social and political contradictions. Critical consciousness also includes taking action against the oppressive elements in one’s life that are illuminated by that understanding. As a part of B.Ed curriculum a conscientization class was conducted to students of Holy family convent school Aravila through online platform Google meet on November 27 ,2020. INTRODUCTION The school-based activity is coming under the paper EDU 12: Learner in the Educational Perspective. The aim of the activity is to equip the student teachers proficient in initiation, organization and management of student-centred programmes considering the demands of the group. Student teachers can conduct any activity/programme in connection with the theoretical transaction of Educational Psychology in classroom in order to help school students for meaningful learning.
